Jianzi manufacturers

For professional or competitive Jianzi, the feathers must be high-quality goose or duck feathers, typically 4 to 6 pieces, ensuring they are symmetrical and securely fastened. The base should be made of natural rubber or high-density EVA to provide a consistent bounce. Avoid plastic bases for professional sourcing as they lack the necessary elasticity and impact absorption.

A standard Jianzi usually weighs between 15g and 25g. The balance is maintained by metal washers (usually 3-4 pieces) inserted between the feathers and the base. Ensure these washers are galvanized or stainless steel to prevent rust, which can affect the weight distribution and aerodynamic stability over time.

Since Jianzi is often categorized under sporting goods or toys, it must comply with EN71 (Europe) or ASTM F963 (USA) regarding physical safety and non-toxic materials. Specifically, ensure the dyes used on feathers are lead-free and the rubber base does not contain harmful phthalates.

Request stress test reports or samples to check the 'feather-to-base' connection. High-quality Jianzi uses nylon threading and industrial-grade adhesive to ensure feathers do not detach after repeated kicks. A durability benchmark is the ability to withstand at least 500 high-impact kicks without structural deformation.

Feathers are biological materials and may be subject to quarantine inspections or Veterinary Certificates in certain countries to prevent avian diseases. Always confirm with your supplier if the feathers have undergone high-temperature sterilization and if they can provide a Fumigation Certificate to avoid customs delays.

Jianzi is a lightweight but relatively high-volume product. To maximize container utilization, request compressed packaging or bulk flat-packing where the feathers and bases are assembled at the destination, though this is rare. Most buyers prefer stackable color box packaging; ensure the outer cartons are 5-layer corrugated cardboard to prevent the feathers from being crushed during transit.

Focus on MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) vs. Customization. Many suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer lower prices if you use their standard feather colors. If you require OEM branding on the rubber base, expect an initial mold fee. Negotiate for a sample refund policy where the cost of the prototype is deducted from your first bulk order exceeding 1,000 units.

Always use secured payment terms and prioritize suppliers with Audited Supplier reports on Made-in-China.com. For large orders, consider a third-party pre-shipment inspection to verify that the feather quality and weight consistency match the approved sample before the final balance is paid.
