Kunlun engine oil price manufacturers

When sourcing Kunlun engine oil, you must prioritize the Viscosity Grade (SAE) and Performance Levels (API/ACEA). For modern gasoline engines, look for API SP or SN ratings, while heavy-duty diesel engines typically require API CK-4 or CJ-4. Ensure the Viscosity Index is high (typically >150 for synthetic blends) to guarantee stable lubrication across extreme temperature ranges. Additionally, verify the Total Base Number (TBN) to ensure the oil can effectively neutralize acidic by-products over long drain intervals.

Kunlun is a premium brand under PetroChina; therefore, you must request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch. Ensure the supplier provides ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications to prove automotive-grade manufacturing standards. For international compliance, check if the specific oil meets OEM approvals from major manufacturers like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, or Cummins, which serves as a third-party validation of quality.

The price is primarily driven by the Base Oil Group (Group II, III, or IV/PAO) and the Additive Package used. Fully synthetic oils command a premium due to superior oxidation stability. In B2B sourcing, the packaging volume (e.g., 4L retail jugs vs. 200L industrial drums) significantly impacts the unit price. Furthermore, fluctuations in global crude oil indices and export tax rebates in China will influence the final quotation.

The Kunlun Tianrun (Tianrun) series is designed for passenger vehicles, focusing on fuel economy and engine protection in stop-and-go city driving. The Kunlun Tianwei series is engineered for heavy-duty commercial vehicles and construction machinery, offering high shear stability. For industrial applications, Kunlun provides specialized hydraulic and gear oils capable of handling high-pressure environments.

The most significant risk is Counterfeit Products. Always source from verified Gold Members or Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com to ensure traceability. Another risk is Chemical Regulation Compliance; ensure the product has a valid Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) that complies with the GHS standards of your destination country to avoid customs seizures.

Engine oil is classified as a non-hazardous liquid in most cases, but it requires specialized leak-proof packaging. Negotiate for Palletized Shipping to prevent drum punctures during transit. For large volumes, consider Flexitanks for cost-efficiency, but ensure the supplier has experience in loading them to prevent structural failure during sea freight.

Utilize Trade Terms like CIF or CFR to clearly define where the risk transfers. For first-time large orders, insist on a Third-Party Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) by agencies like SGS or Intertek to test the oil's flash point and viscosity against the agreed specifications. Use Secured Payment methods provided by reputable B2B platforms to protect your capital until the shipping documents are verified.

Check for Anti-dumping duties or specific Environmental Taxes on petroleum products in your country. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin (CO), which may allow you to benefit from Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and significantly reduce import tariffs.
