Ladies cotton pyjamas manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize 100% Combed Cotton or Pima Cotton for superior softness and breathability. For the fabric construction, a GSM (Grams per Square Meter) of 140-180 is ideal for year-round wear, while 200+ GSM is better for winter collections. Ensure the supplier uses reactive dyeing processes to guarantee colorfastness (Grade 4 or higher) and prevent skin irritation.

Products must adhere to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 to ensure the absence of harmful chemicals. For the US market, compliance with 16 CFR Part 1610 (Flammability of Clothing Textiles) is critical. If targeting the EU, ensure the garments meet REACH regulations. Additionally, verify that the factory holds a BSCI or Sedex audit report to satisfy social responsibility requirements.

Request samples to inspect the stitch density (typically 10-12 stitches per inch) and the use of safety-stitch or flatlock seams to prevent chafing. Check the quality of components like elastic waistbands (should retain shape after 50+ stretches) and buttons (must pass a 90N pull test) to ensure safety and longevity.

Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com usually offer custom tech packs, including private labeling, screen printing, digital printing, and embroidery. Discuss size specifications (Asian vs. European vs. US sizing) early, as sleepwear requires a 'relaxed fit' tolerance of approximately +/- 1.5cm.

Always arrange for a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. Utilize Secure Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after the bill of lading is confirmed. Never skip the pre-production sample (PPS) approval stage before mass production begins.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. If your order volume is low, suggest using stock fabrics to reduce the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ). For large orders, aim for a 10-15% volume discount and negotiate 30% deposit / 70% balance payment terms to maintain cash flow.

For high-value or seasonal launches, Air Freight is fast but costly. For bulk replenishment, Sea Freight (FCL or LCL) is the most economical. Ensure the supplier uses moisture-proof PE bags and 5-layer corrugated export cartons to prevent mildew and water damage during long-distance ocean transit.

Ensure your brand trademarks are registered in both the sourcing and destination countries. When providing custom designs, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the manufacturer to prevent your unique patterns or styles from being sold to other competitors.
