Quartz watch sr626sw manufacturers

The SR626SW (377) is one of the most common silver oxide button cells, known for its stable 1.55V discharge voltage. When sourcing, ensure the movement is compatible (e.g., Japanese Miyota or Seiko movements are industry standards for reliability). You should prioritize watches with 316L stainless steel casings for corrosion resistance and Mineral or Sapphire crystal glass to prevent scratching. For water resistance, a minimum of 3ATM (30 meters) is standard for daily wear, while 5ATM or higher is recommended for premium retail lines.

For the European market, CE marking and RoHS compliance are essential to ensure the electronic components and batteries are free from hazardous substances. If exporting to the US, ensure the product meets FCC standards for electromagnetic interference and California Proposition 65 regarding lead and nickel content in the plating. Additionally, verify that the SR626SW battery included has a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN38.3 test report for safe air and sea transport.

Request a pre-production sample to conduct a Time Accuracy Test (standard quartz movements should deviate less than +/- 20 seconds per month). Perform a Salt Spray Test on the plating to check for oxidation and a Pull Test on the watch strap (leather or metal) to ensure it can withstand at least 5-10kg of tension. For the SR626SW battery, confirm the shelf life is at least 2-3 years to avoid dead-on-arrival stock.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer Private Labeling, allowing your logo to be placed on the dial, case back, buckle, and crown. You can also request custom packaging (watch boxes) and choose specific plating colors (e.g., PVD Gold, Rose Gold, or Black). For high-volume orders, you can customize the hand shapes and luminous coatings (e.g., Swiss Super-LumiNova) for better night visibility.

Watches are classified as 'Dangerous Goods' (UN3481/UN3091) if the battery is installed. You must ensure the supplier provides a Battery Declaration and uses specialized couriers or freight forwarders experienced in handling button cells. Failure to declare batteries can lead to customs seizures or heavy fines. For large sea shipments, ensure the watches are packed with silica gel desiccant to prevent moisture buildup during transit.

Standard MOQs for custom quartz watches usually range from 300 to 500 pieces. To optimize costs, negotiate a tiered pricing structure where the unit price drops by 10-15% as you reach the 1,000-unit mark. Always clarify if the quoted price includes the SR626SW battery and basic packaging, as some suppliers quote 'head-only' prices to appear cheaper. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to protect your deposit until the goods pass inspection.

Implement a Third-Party Inspection (TPI) before the final balance payment. The inspector should check for dust under the glass, alignment of the second hand, and battery functionality. Ensure the Sales Contract explicitly states the movement brand (e.g., 'Original Japanese Movement') and the warranty period (typically 12-24 months). Avoid paying via non-traceable methods; always use official platform payment gateways for better legal recourse.

Be aware of Import Duties and HTS Codes (typically under Chapter 91). Some countries impose higher tariffs on watches with precious metal plating. Check for Anti-Dumping duties if applicable in your region. Ensure the 'Country of Origin' is clearly marked on the case back (e.g., 'Made in China') to comply with global customs labeling requirements.
