Salt room manufacturers

A functional salt room relies on a Halogenerator, which is the most critical piece of equipment. It must be capable of crushing pharmaceutical-grade salt into micro-particles (0.5–5 microns). Additionally, the room requires a specialized HVAC system to maintain humidity levels between 40-60% and temperatures of 20-24°C, preventing the salt from clumping or becoming damp.

Ensure the salt used is 99.99% pure Sodium Chloride (NaCl), free from additives or anti-caking agents. For construction, verify that wall panels or bricks are sourced from Himalayan salt mines with consistent mineral density. All adhesives and coatings used must be non-toxic and VOC-free to ensure the air quality remains therapeutic and safe for inhalation.

Since halogenerators are electrical medical/wellness devices, they should carry CE (Europe), UL (USA), or RoHS certifications to ensure electrical safety. If the equipment is marketed for medical benefits, check for ISO 13485 (Medical Devices Quality Management) or local FDA/MDR registrations to avoid customs seizures or legal liabilities in your home country.

Yes, most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer modular salt room kits or bespoke design services. You should provide CAD drawings of your space. Ensure the supplier can accommodate integrated chromotherapy (LED lighting), acoustic insulation, and automated control systems that allow operators to adjust salt concentrations via a touch panel.

The main risks are moisture damage and breakage. Salt bricks are fragile and hygroscopic (absorb water). You must insist on vacuum-sealed packaging and sturdy wooden crate reinforcement. Ensure the shipment is sent via Sea Freight with moisture-absorbent silica gel packs, and always secure Full Cargo Insurance to cover potential transit breakage.

Focus on the warranty of the halogenerator motor and the availability of spare parts. Negotiate a 12-24 month warranty and request a 'wear-and-tear' kit (extra blades and filters) to be included in the initial order. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to hold final payment until the equipment passes a local power-on test.

Because sending technicians abroad is costly, prioritize suppliers who provide detailed English installation manuals and video tutorials. Confirm if the supplier offers remote technical support via video call. It is highly recommended to hire a local licensed electrician to handle the final wiring to ensure compliance with your local building codes.

Classify the goods correctly using HS Codes (e.g., 8424.89 for mechanical appliances or 2501.00 for bulk salt). Be prepared to provide a Certificate of Origin to benefit from potential trade agreement tariff reductions. Working with a customs broker is essential to navigate specific 'medical device' vs. 'wellness equipment' import duties in your region.
