Sex patch manufacturers

When sourcing sex patches, prioritize transdermal delivery technology which ensures a steady release of active ingredients through the skin. Key ingredients often include natural herbal extracts such as Ginseng, Maca Root, Saw Palmetto, and Muira Puama. Ensure the adhesive used is medical-grade and hypoallergenic to prevent skin irritation, and verify that the patch is waterproof and sweat-resistant for long-term wear (typically 8-24 hours).

As these products fall under health or cosmetic categories, you must ensure the manufacturer holds ISO 22716 (GMP for Cosmetics) or ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) certifications. For the US market, products should be manufactured in FDA-registered facilities, and for the EU, they must comply with REACH regulations and have a Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Always request Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch to verify ingredient purity.

Request third-party lab test reports that screen for heavy metals, microbial contamination, and the absence of undeclared pharmaceutical ingredients (like Sildenafil). Conduct a sample test to evaluate the peel strength (adhesion) and check for any residue left on the skin. Professional B2B buyers should look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com who provide clinical trial data or consumer perception studies to back up performance claims.

Most professional suppliers offer private label services where you can customize the patch shape, ingredient formulation, and packaging design. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) for custom printed foil pouches usually range from 5,000 to 10,000 units. Ensure the supplier can provide die-cut templates for your designers and offers multi-language packaging to meet the legal requirements of your target market.

The biggest risk is customs seizure due to 'unapproved drug' claims. Ensure your marketing materials and packaging do not make unsubstantiated medical claims that could reclassify the product as a drug rather than a supplement. Always use the correct HS Code (typically 300510 or 382499) and consult with a licensed customs broker to ensure all labeling requirements (ingredient lists, manufacturer info, and warnings) are met.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payments until the goods are received and inspected. Conduct a factory audit or hire a third-party inspection firm (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). This ensures the quantity, quality, and packaging match your Purchase Order before the final balance is paid.

Since patches are lightweight and high-value, Air Freight or International Express (DHL/FedEx) is often the most cost-effective and fastest method. However, because they contain chemical adhesives and herbal extracts, you must provide a Non-Dangerous Goods Declaration and an SDS. Ensure the outer cartons are double-walled and moisture-proof to prevent the patches from losing their adhesive properties during transit through humid climates.

Focus on tiered pricing based on volume; a 20-30% price drop is common when moving from 1,000 to 10,000 units. Negotiate for free samples for your first three potential SKUs and ask for favorable payment terms (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% after inspection) once a relationship is established. Always clarify who bears the cost of customs duties and local taxes (Incoterms like FOB or DDP).
