Silver fiber conductive gloves manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize the silver fiber content percentage, typically ranging from 3% to 10% for standard touch-screen use and up to 20%+ for medical or anti-static industrial applications. Ensure the surface resistivity is clearly defined, usually below 10^3 ohms/sq for high conductivity. Additionally, verify the knitting density (gauge); a 15-gauge or 18-gauge knit provides better dexterity and touch sensitivity for electronic device operation.

For the EU market, products must adhere to CE marking and EN 16350:2014 (protective gloves against electrostatic risks). If marketed for therapeutic or medical use, FDA registration (USA) or Medical Device Regulation (MDR) compliance (EU) is mandatory. Furthermore, ensure the materials pass OEKO-TEX Standard 100 to guarantee the silver ions and base fabrics are free from harmful substances and safe for prolonged skin contact.

There are two main types: silver-plated nylon and blended silver yarns. Silver-plated nylon offers superior conductivity but may lose effectiveness after 20-30 washes. Buyers should request wash-test reports to confirm the oxidation resistance of the silver layer. For industrial longevity, look for seamless knitting technology which prevents fraying at the fingertips, the most critical point for conductive performance.

These gloves serve three main sectors: Consumer Electronics (winter touchscreen gloves), Industrial Safety (ESD/Anti-static environments for semiconductor assembly), and Healthcare (electrotherapy and TENS conductive garments). For cleanroom environments, ensure the gloves are lint-free and compatible with Class 100-1000 standards.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. Specifically, ask for a conductivity consistency test across different batches. Utilize Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to ensure that payment is only released to the supplier once the goods meet the agreed-upon technical specifications.

Since silver is a precious metal commodity, unit prices fluctuate with global silver market rates. Negotiate a price adjustment clause for large long-term contracts. For startups, look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com that offer flexible MOQs (e.g., 100-500 pairs) for neutral packaging, while reserving custom branding (OEM) for volumes exceeding 2,000 pairs to optimize cost-efficiency.

Silver fiber is sensitive to moisture and oxidation. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum-sealed inner packaging with desiccant silica gel packs. For international logistics, choose DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms if you lack a local customs broker, and ensure the HS Code (typically 6116.93) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays or incorrect tariff applications.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as these companies have undergone comprehensive on-site verification of their manufacturing capabilities, certifications, and business licenses. Review their Export Experience—suppliers who regularly ship to your target region (e.g., North America or Europe) are more likely to understand your local compliance and labeling requirements.
