Sunglass display rack manufacturers

When selecting materials, Acrylic (PMMA) is the industry standard for a premium, high-transparency look that mimics glass without the fragility. For high-traffic retail environments, powder-coated metal or stainless steel frames are recommended for structural integrity. If your brand positioning is eco-friendly or rustic, solid wood or bamboo provides a high-end feel, but ensure it is kiln-dried to prevent warping in humid climates.

Prioritize racks with adjustable nose bridge spacing to accommodate various frame sizes, from slim metal aviators to oversized acetate frames. For security, consider lockable cabinets or integrated alarm sensors if displaying high-value designer brands. 360-degree rotating bases are essential for floor-standing models to maximize space utility and customer engagement, while LED integrated lighting (CRI >90) is crucial to highlight lens colors and coatings effectively.

Ensure the manufacturer complies with ISO 9001 for quality management. For racks with electronic components (like LED lights or rotating motors), verify CE, UL, or RoHS certifications to ensure electrical safety and environmental compliance. Additionally, check that all edges are diamond-polished or deburred to prevent customer injury and that the base is weighted for stability to pass tip-over safety tests.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. You should request silk-screen printing, laser engraving, or 3D acrylic lettering for your logo. Ensure the supplier can provide CAD or 3D rendering services before production to verify that the dimensions align with your retail floor plan and brand guidelines.

Display racks, especially those made of acrylic or glass, are highly fragile. Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with custom-fit EPE foam inserts. For bulk sea freight, request palletization with stretch wrap and corner protectors. It is highly recommended to conduct a drop test (ISTA 1A or 2A) on the packaging before the final balance payment is made.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts (such as extra nose clips or LED bulbs) to be included in the shipment. If you have a large order, propose a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% after third-party inspection but before shipment) to maintain leverage over quality control.

Since display racks are often high-volume but low-weight, shipping costs can be high due to volumetric weight. Ask the supplier for knock-down (KD) packaging designs to reduce shipping volume. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed Packing List and Commercial Invoice with the correct HS Code (typically 9403 for furniture/displays) to avoid customs delays and ensure accurate duty calculation.

Always use the Secured Trading Service provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment. Before placing a large order, verify the supplier's Audit Report and check if they are a Diamond Member or a Gold Supplier. Requesting a factory video audit or hiring a third-party inspection firm like SGS or Intertek to perform a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) is a standard industry safeguard.
