Tt cosmetics companies manufacturers

When sourcing from cosmetics companies, you must ensure products comply with GMPC (Good Manufacturing Practice Cosmetics) and ISO 22716:2007 standards. For specific markets, verify FDA registration for the U.S. or CPNP notification for the EU. Always request a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch to guarantee ingredient safety and stability.

Prioritize suppliers that offer paraben-free, cruelty-free, and vegan formulations, as these are high-demand market trends. Ask for the INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) list to check for prohibited substances. For active skincare, verify the concentration levels of key ingredients (like Retinol, Vitamin C, or Hyaluronic Acid) to ensure the product delivers on its functional claims.

Cosmetic packaging must be airtight and UV-resistant to prevent oxidation of active ingredients. Ensure the supplier uses BPA-free plastics or recyclable glass to meet sustainability goals. For private labeling (OEM), confirm the printing technique (silk screen, hot stamping, or UV printing) and ensure the packaging passes leakage tests and compatibility tests with the formula.

For OEM/ODM services, MOQs typically range from 1,000 to 5,000 units per SKU, depending on the complexity of the packaging. Lead times for initial custom orders are usually 30–45 days, which includes formula stabilization testing and packaging production. Repeat orders are generally faster, averaging 15–25 days.

The biggest risks include customs seizure due to prohibited ingredients and product degradation during transit. To mitigate this, use temperature-controlled shipping for sensitive creams or serums and ensure all labels strictly follow the labeling laws of the destination country (e.g., font size, language, and ingredient disclosure).

Utilize Trade Assurance services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payments. Always hire a third-party inspection agency (such as SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI), focusing on pH value testing, microbial counts, and weight accuracy.

Negotiate based on total volume across multiple SKUs rather than a single product to lower the overall MOQ. Request tiered pricing where the unit cost drops significantly as volume increases. Additionally, negotiate for free samples for new product development and a small percentage of overage (1-2%) to cover potential shipping damages.

Liquids and powders are often classified as 'sensitive goods' by carriers. You must provide a Non-Dangerous Goods Declaration and an MSDS to the freight forwarder. For large volumes, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL) is most cost-effective, but ensure the containers are positioned away from heat sources on the vessel.
