Wholesale dettol soap. manufacturers

When sourcing Dettol soap in bulk, the primary active ingredient to verify is Chloroxylenol (PCMX), which provides its antiseptic properties. You must ensure the Total Fatty Matter (TFM) is at least 68-70%, as a higher TFM ensures better skin moisturizing and soap quality. Additionally, confirm the pH balance (typically between 9.0 and 11.0) to ensure it meets skin safety standards for daily use.

As a health-related product, Dettol soap must comply with strict international standards. Buyers should request ISO 9001 for manufacturing quality and ISO 22716 (GMP) for cosmetic good manufacturing practices. For specific markets, ensure the product has FDA registration (USA), CE marking or REACH compliance (Europe), and a valid Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch to prove germ-kill efficacy.

Counterfeit antiseptic soaps are a high risk in wholesale. Always check for holographic security seals on master cartons and consistent embossing of the Dettol sword logo on the soap bar itself. Authentic products will have a distinct, sharp pine fragrance and clear, smudge-free batch coding and expiry dates printed on the packaging. Requesting a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the manufacturer or an authorized distributor is the most secure way to verify authenticity.

Standard wholesale Dettol soap usually comes in 75g, 110g, or 175g bars, packed in cartons of 48 to 144 units. Ensure the packaging is moisture-proof laminate wrap to prevent the soap from drying out or losing its fragrance. The typical shelf life is 24 to 36 months; as a B2B buyer, you should negotiate for stock that has at least 80% of its shelf life remaining upon arrival at your warehouse.

The biggest risks include intellectual property (IP) infringement if the goods are not authorized for resale in your region, and customs seizure due to lack of proper chemical documentation. To mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after quality inspection and verification of shipping documents.

For Dettol soap, margins are often slim, so focus on Tiered Pricing. A typical MOQ starts at 1x20ft container for the best rates. Negotiate for Free Samples (buyer pays shipping) to test the TFM and fragrance. Ask for volume-based rebates if you plan to place recurring quarterly orders, which can reduce the unit price by 3-5%.

Soap is heavy and sensitive to extreme heat. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over your shipping costs. Ensure the container is clean, dry, and odor-free to prevent cross-contamination. For long-haul sea freight, request palletized loading with shrink-wrap to prevent carton crushing and facilitate faster unloading at your destination port.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone third-party onsite inspections by SGS or Intertek. Always use Escrow-based payment methods and avoid direct wire transfers to unverified personal accounts. Conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify the quantity, weight, and batch numbers match the Proforma Invoice before the balance payment is made.
