Wholesale mini doll manufacturers

Safety is the highest priority for toys. You must ensure products comply with ASTM F963 (USA), EN71 (Europe), and ISO 8124 (International). Specifically, dolls must pass Small Parts Tests to prevent choking hazards, and materials must be certified BPA-free, Phthalate-free, and Lead-free. Always request a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) for US imports or a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) for the EU.

Focus on the skin-friendly PVC or silicone vinyl used for the body. For hair, rooted mohair or high-temperature synthetic fiber is more durable than glued wigs. Check for seamless joints and non-toxic painted details (like eyes and lips) that do not peel. For plush mini dolls, verify the stitching density and ensure the stuffing is 100% new polyester fiber to maintain shape after compression.

Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com should offer custom mold creation, bespoke clothing designs, and private label packaging. Ensure the supplier can handle Pantone color matching for skin tones and provides 3D prototyping services before mass production to reduce development risks.

Mini dolls are lightweight, so shipping costs per unit are lower when buying in bulk. Aim for an MOQ of 500-1,000 units to unlock wholesale pricing, which can be 30-50% lower than small-batch orders. Consider flat-pack packaging designs to reduce volumetric weight during air or sea freight.

Avoid dolls that closely resemble famous characters (e.g., Disney or Barbie) unless the supplier provides a valid licensing agreement. Importing counterfeit goods can lead to customs seizures and heavy fines. Work with reputable manufacturers on Made-in-China.com who offer original designs or 'white-label' products.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by the platform to ensure your funds are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. Conduct Third-Party Inspections (e.g., V-Trust or SGS) before the final balance is paid to verify that the batch quality matches the approved sample.

For high-value or seasonal dolls (like Christmas editions), Air Freight or Express (DHL/FedEx) is best for speed (5-7 days). For standard wholesale stock, Sea Freight (LCL) is the most economical. Ensure the supplier uses double-walled corrugated export cartons and moisture-proof inner bags to prevent damage during long-distance transit.

Don't just negotiate on price; negotiate on payment terms (e.g., 30% deposit / 70% after inspection) and lead time guarantees. Ask for a spare parts allowance (1-2%) for items like doll accessories or clothing to cover potential minor defects without needing to process returns.
