Air compressors are pressure vessels and must meet strict safety standards. For the US market, ensure the tank is ASME certified. Another risk is shipping damage to the pressure tank; always insist on reinforced wooden crate packaging rather than standard pallets to prevent structural compromises during transit.

Additionally, negotiate based on component brands; specifying a high-end brand for the inverter or PLC might increase the price but reduces the risk of expensive after-sales claims.
