For the EU market, the CE marking and EN71 certification (Safety of Toys) are often required if the frame is considered to have 'play value' or includes impression kits. Always request ASTM D-4236 reports for any included art materials like ink or clay.

Request ISTA 3A standard packaging (drop-test certified). Each frame should be wrapped in EPE foam or bubble wrap, with reinforced corrugated corner protectors. For bulk orders, ensure the master cartons are double-walled and palletized with shrink wrap to prevent moisture ingress during ocean transit.

Conversely, verify that the supplier’s 'original' designs do not infringe on existing global patents or trademarks to avoid customs seizures.
