For the solution, check the bubble density and longevity; high-quality solutions use purified water and specialized surfactants to create bubbles that don't pop instantly. Request a video performance test from the supplier to check for motor noise levels and leakage issues.

Prioritize ABS plastic over cheaper PP for the toy body to ensure impact resistance during shipping and use. If purchasing battery-operated units, confirm if they use rechargeable lithium batteries or standard AA/AAA; rechargeable versions often require UL or UN38.3 certification. For the bubble solution, specify the concentration ratio—ready-to-use vs. concentrated—to optimize your shipping weight and costs.

Bubble toys cater to diverse segments: Outdoor play (bubble mowers, wands), Event effects (professional bubble machines for weddings/stages), and Bath time (bubble crabs/toys). Understanding your niche helps in selecting the right IP rating (for water-adjacent toys) and aesthetic design (licensed characters vs. generic shapes) to maximize retail turnover.

The main risks are leakage and customs seizure. Ensure the supplier uses induction foil sealing on all bottles. Because liquids are often flagged as 'sensitive goods,' you must provide a Certificate for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods. To reduce risks and costs, many professional buyers source the plastic hardware from China and procure the liquid solution locally, or buy concentrated powder packets to avoid shipping heavy liquids.

Focus on MOQ flexibility for customized packaging. While the toy itself may have a low MOQ, custom color boxes usually require 2,000+ units. Negotiate a staged deposit (e.g., 30% down, 70% after third-party inspection). Ask for spare parts (1-2%) to be included in the shipment to cover potential motor failures, which is a standard industry practice for electronic toys.

Always use secured payment services provided by the platform to ensure your funds are protected until shipping documents are verified. Conduct a factory audit or hire a third-party inspector (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Final Random Inspection (FRI). This inspection should specifically check for sharp edges, small parts (choking hazards), and battery safety before the final balance is paid.
