Always stipulate vacuum packaging and wooden pallet reinforcement in your contract to prevent physical warping or edge damage during sea freight.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers and long-term supply stability. Since raw material costs (copper and epoxy resin) fluctuate, negotiate a price adjustment formula linked to LME (London Metal Exchange) copper prices. Requesting a sample batch (e.g., 5-10 sheets) for a trial production run before committing to a full container can save thousands in potential rework costs.

Utilize Trade Assurance services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are verified. For large orders, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). They should specifically check for lot-to-lot consistency, thickness uniformity, and the presence of any surface pits or scratches on the copper foil.

CCL is heavy and sensitive to pressure. Ensure the supplier uses horizontal stacking with a limit on the number of crates per stack to avoid crushing the bottom layers.
