For sliding cupboards, verify the Load-bearing Capacity of the Tracks (minimum 50kg per door). Additionally, check for Adjustable Leveling Feet to compensate for uneven flooring during installation.

The most critical factor is the Formaldehyde Emission Level. Ensure products meet E1 or E0 standards (EN 13986) for the EU, or CARB Phase 2 / EPA TSCA Title VI for the US market. For cupboards used in public spaces, verify Fire Retardant Coatings comply with BS 476 or local building codes.

The biggest risks are Moisture Damage (Mold) and Structural Impact. Ensure the supplier uses Flat-Pack (RTA) Packaging with 5-layer Corrugated Cartons, EPE Foam corner protectors, and Desiccant Silica Gel bags inside the packaging. For high-value items, insist on Honeycomb Board reinforcement.

Start by requesting a Tiered Pricing Structure (e.g., 50, 200, 500 units). If you are a new buyer, negotiate a Sample Order that can be credited back to the first bulk order. Focus on Incoterms like FOB (Free On Board) to maintain control over your shipping costs and logistics providers.
