The choice of material directly impacts the enclosure's durability and application environment. For industrial settings, ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is common due to its impact resistance and cost-effectiveness. However, for high-temperature or fire-sensitive environments, you must specify UL94-V0 flame-retardant plastics. If the meter is used in harsh outdoor or heavy-industrial areas, Aluminum alloy or Polycarbonate (PC) with UV stabilizers should be prioritized to prevent cracking and yellowing.

Furthermore, check if they provide custom colors or transparent front covers (Polycarbonate) if visual monitoring of the internal display is required without opening the unit.
