For the wood, prioritize Kiln-Dried Live Edge Slabs (such as Walnut, Oak, or Olive) with a Moisture Content of 8-12% to prevent warping or cracking after the resin cures. The Shore D Hardness of the cured resin should ideally be above 80 to ensure scratch resistance.

Check for Seamless Bonding between the wood and resin; any gaps indicate poor thermal management during the pouring process. For safety, ensure the finish is Food-Grade Certified (e.g., FDA compliant) if the table is intended for dining. Additionally, verify that the Table Legs are made of Powder-Coated Steel or Solid Wood with a load-bearing capacity exceeding 150kg for standard dining sizes.

A top-tier supplier should offer CAD Design Previews before production. Customization should include Pigment Selection (metallic, translucent, or opaque), Edge Profiles (square, bullnose, or live edge), and Embedded Elements (stones, glitter, or branding). Ensure they can accommodate Custom Dimensions with a tolerance of ±2mm.

For the North American market, ensure compliance with ASTM D-4236 (labeling for chronic health hazards). For the EU, products must meet REACH Regulations regarding chemical substances. If the table includes integrated LED lighting, it must carry CE or UL Certification for the electronic components.

Epoxy tables are heavy and brittle. You must mandate Plywood Crate Packaging rather than standard cardboard. Ensure the table is wrapped in Pearl Cotton or High-Density Foam and secured with Corner Protectors. It is highly recommended to purchase All-Risk Marine Insurance and include Tilt and Impact Sensors on the crate to monitor handling.

Focus on Sample Order Offsetting; negotiate to have the cost of the initial sample deducted from your first bulk order. Request a Detailed Production Timeline with milestones. For large orders, aim for a 30% Deposit and 70% Balance payment structure after a Third-Party Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is completed.

Always use Trade Terms that include a Quality Guarantee Period (typically 1-2 years for structural integrity). Document the Unboxing Process with Video as evidence. If defects like 'delamination' or 'cloudiness' appear, refer to the Pre-Shipment Inspection Report to hold the supplier or logistics provider accountable.

Due to the weight, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical method. For US-bound shipments, be aware of Lacey Act Declarations for wood products. Ensure the supplier provides a Fumigation Certificate if solid wood crates or certain raw wood species are used to avoid customs delays or rejection at the port of entry.
