The main risks include corrosion during sea transit and structural damage due to weight. Insist on seaworthy packaging, such as reinforced wooden crates with VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) film. For large orders, use FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over the shipping line and insurance, ensuring the goods are covered from the port of loading to your warehouse.

Suppliers often offer 10-20% discounts for bulk orders exceeding 50 units. If you require OEM branding or custom colors (like safety yellow or green), the MOQ may increase. Negotiate a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a successful pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to ensure the technical specifications meet your local safety regulations before the final funds are released.
