Battery backup life should meet a minimum of 24-hour standby plus 30 minutes of alarm time.

Fire-resistant (FR) gear must be tested for Thermal Protective Performance (TPP) and Flame Resistance (ASTM D6413). For industrial use, the fabric should maintain its FR properties for at least 50 industrial wash cycles. Ensure seams are sewn with Nomex or Kevlar thread to prevent structural failure during high-heat exposure.

Focus negotiations on warranty terms and component availability rather than just the unit price. A 2-5 year warranty is standard for high-quality hardware. Request spare parts kits (valves, gauges, seals) to be included in the bulk price (typically 2-3% of the order volume) to handle minor maintenance issues without needing international returns.
