For the EU market, ensure products are REACH and RoHS compliant, certifying they are free from hazardous substances like lead or cadmium. For the US market, while screen protectors are generally low-risk, ensure the packaging meets TPCH (Toxics in Packaging Clearinghouse) requirements. If the accessory includes electronic components (like a glass wireless charger), CE, FCC, and Qi certifications are mandatory.

2.5D glass features slightly rounded edges and is the most cost-effective for flat screens. 3D glass is heat-bent to fit curved-edge phones (like Samsung S-series), offering full coverage but at a higher unit cost. 5D/9D/10D labels are often marketing terms for full-glue, edge-to-edge protection; focus on the actual fit and glue coverage rather than the 'D' number to ensure compatibility with phone cases.

Glass is inherently fragile. You must mandate drop-tested retail packaging and ensure the outer shipping cartons are double-walled corrugated fiberboard. Request the use of plastic or foam inner trays rather than just paper sleeves. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, insist on palletization with corner protectors and shrink wrap to prevent crushing by heavier cargo.
