For the US market, compliance with FDA guidelines for cosmetic-like pet products is recommended, while the EU market requires adherence to REACH regulations. If the product claims to be biodegradable, verify EN 13432 or ASTM D6400 certifications.

To prevent drying out, choose packaging with a rigid plastic flip-top lid rather than just a resealable sticker. Request information on the liquid content ratio, which should ideally be 3.0x to 3.5x the weight of the dry fabric to ensure effective cleaning throughout the shelf life.

Pet wipes are water-based and susceptible to microbial growth. Ensure the supplier uses EDI (Electrodeionization) purified water and conducts microbiological testing for every batch. Request vacuum-sealed master cartons to protect against humidity and temperature fluctuations during sea freight.

Focus on tiered pricing based on annual volume rather than a single order. Ask for OEM/Private Label customization (e.g., custom embossing or scents) to be included in the unit price for orders exceeding 10,000 packs. Always request a pre-production sample to verify the actual thickness and moisture level before releasing the deposit.
