Focus on weight-based pricing for metal goods. Since shipping costs for heavy steel pegs can be high, negotiate for customized packaging (e.g., 10-piece retail sets) to be done at the factory level to save on secondary handling costs. For large volumes, aim for a 15-20% discount by committing to an annual volume rather than a single spot order.
