To differentiate your brand, consider silk-screen printing for durability, hot stamping for a metallic luxury finish, or color coating (lacquering) for opaque or gradient effects. For premium bottles, acid frosting or electroplating can provide a unique tactile experience. Always request a pre-production sample to verify color accuracy against Pantone standards.

Suppliers should conduct vacuum leakage tests (typically at -0.05MPa for 5 minutes) to ensure the seal between the pump and the bottle neck is secure. It is also essential to perform a fragrance compatibility test, where the bottle is filled with your specific perfume oil and stored at 45°C for 4-8 weeks to check for clouding, discoloration, or pump failure.

The biggest risk is breakage during transit. You must mandate 5-layer corrugated export cartons with individual egg-crate dividers or foam trays. For bulk sea freight, ensure the pallets are shrink-wrapped and corner-protected to prevent shifting. It is highly recommended to include a 2%-3% breakage allowance in the contract or ask the supplier to provide extra units for free.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers; increasing your order from 5,000 to 10,000 units can often reduce the unit price by 15-20%. Negotiate for custom mold ownership if you are developing a unique shape, ensuring that the supplier cannot sell your proprietary design to other buyers. For payment, use Trade Assurance or Letter of Credit (L/C) to secure your funds until the goods pass inspection.

Instruct the inspector to check for glass bubbles, scratches, and uneven bases (which cause wobbling).
