PU is sensitive to humidity and temperature. Ensure the contract specifies vacuum packaging or moisture-proof PE bags with desiccant packs. Use climate-controlled containers if shipping through tropical routes. Most importantly, include a clause in your Purchase Order (PO) stating that the soles must be manufactured no more than 60 days prior to shipment to ensure maximum shelf life upon arrival.

Start by verifying the supplier's Audited Supplier status on the platform. Negotiate based on volume tiers; for PU soles, price breaks usually occur at 3,000 pairs and 10,000 pairs. Request OEM/ODM customization terms, specifically who owns the mold rights after the mold fee is paid. To ensure transaction security, use secured payment terms and consider a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to verify the quantity and quality before the final balance is paid.
