We use carbon powder or chopped carbon fiber as filler. Carbon modification significantly improves wear resistance, compressive strength, and creep resistance, while also imparting certain electrical conductivity and anti-static properties. It is ideal for applications where static buildup or continuous friction is a concern.

Carbon filling does not substantially reduce PTFE's excellent chemical inertness. The tube resists most strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, and oils. However, in strongly oxidizing acids, carbon may oxidize - so we advise against such exposure. For common industrial fluids, resistance remains excellent.

Carbon fiber filling can increase elastic modulus by about 2~3 times, compressive strength by over 50%, and wear resistance (abrasion tests) by 3~5 times. It also significantly reduces creep deformation at high temperatures, making the tubing dimensionally stable under high pressure or dynamic loads.

Absolutely. In addition to cutting to specified lengths, we can apply length markers or part numbers on the tube surface for easy identification. If you need special end shapes (e.g., beveled or flared ends), we also offer additional machining services.

Please note that carbon-modified PTFE is not food-grade and does not meet FDA requirements. Therefore, it is not suitable for food, pharmaceutical, or drinking water contact. It is designed for industrial applications such as anti-static piping in electronics plants, wear-resistant pipelines in chemical facilities, guide tubes in automated machinery, and fiber optic cable protective sleeves.
