Graphite filling provides excellent self-lubrication and a low friction coefficient, allowing operation without additional lubricant. It also improves wear resistance and creep resistance, making it ideal for guide rings, support rings, and bushings that withstand side loads in hydraulic cylinders, effectively reducing wear on metal cylinder walls and piston rods.

Extruded tubes: OD 13-213 mm, ID 5.2-196 mm, length 500-4000 mm - suitable for small-to-medium diameter, long guide rings. Molded tubes: OD 30-1323 mm, ID 10-1217 mm, length 100-300 mm - for large diameter, thick-wall, or high-filler bushings. Press tubes: OD 0.2-25 mm, ID 0.1-23 mm, supplied in rolls - for miniature precision guides. Choose based on workpiece size and quantity.

The layered structure of graphite significantly lowers the friction coefficient (down to 0.08-0.15) and increases wear resistance by about 2-4 times, while reducing stick-slip. In low-speed, high-pressure hydraulic guide applications, it maintains smooth motion and extends maintenance intervals.

Due to PTFE's relatively high thermal expansion, clearance should be slightly larger than metal bearings - typically 0.5%-1% of shaft diameter. In hydraulic systems with high or varying temperatures, larger clearance is needed. We can provide thermal expansion data to assist your calculation.
