It uses depth filtration where raw water percolates through a thick layer of graded particles (filter bed). Suspended materials attach to the media, and clean water flows out through filtration nozzles.

Q:How does the automatic backwashing process work?

When the pressure differential reaches a preset value, a switch sends a signal to the controller. Pressurized water flows in reverse direction from the nozzles upwards, suspending the filter bed and washing dirt out through the back-flush valve.
