Equipped with 12-channel 24V DC digital input & 8-channel NPN transistor digital output, all terminals with built-in short-circuit protection, fixed IO layout different from benchmark model.

Reserve 1 dedicated encoder port supporting 5V RS422 incremental, 24V HTL incremental and SSI absolute encoder, max input frequency up to 1MHz for spindle position acquisition.

Pre-installed rich instruction set including bit logic, timer, counter, frequency divider and shift register, programmed via LAD/FBD under STEP7, program saved in onboard 128KB memory.

Powered by S7 backplane 5VDC + external DC24V auxiliary power, backplane current draw 320mA, typical total power consumption 6.5W.

Fully compatible with STEP7 V5.5 & all TIA Portal versions, compatible with full-range S7-300 CPU and ET200M remote expansion rack.
