Q:What is the difference between "Front-Print" and "Back-Print" backlit film?

Front-Print (Positive): You print directly on the front surface. It is the most common and easiest to handle. Back-Print (Reverse): You print a mirrored image on the back side. The PET film itself acts as a protective layer for the ink, providing a high-gloss, premium finish.

Q:Which side of the film is the printing side?

For Front-Print film, the printing side has a matte/textured coating (tacky to a wet finger), while the back is smooth. For Reverse-Print film, you print on the textured back side.

Q:Will the film melt or warp due to the heat of the LED light box?

No. We use thermally stabilized PET base film. It is engineered to withstand the continuous heat generated by light box lamps and LEDs without deforming or yellowing.
