Rdp 7053 Polymer Powder for Dry Mix Bonding Mortar

RDP 7053 is powder adhesive manufactured by spray drying vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer emulsion for dry mix mortar.

It can quickly redisperse into emulsion once contacting water and retains performance same as original emulsion.

It forms highly flexible polymer film after water evaporation and delivers strong adhesion to various substrate surfaces.

It brings excellent bonding strength high surface strength and effectively improves overall flexibility of finished mortar products.

Appearance is white powder. Bulk density ranges 500 to 700 gram per litre. Moisture content is controlled no more than 2.0 percent. Polyvinyl alcohol acts as protective colloid.

Solids content reaches no less than 98 percent and minimum film forming temperature is 3 degree Celsius for stable film forming performance.

Recommended dosage is 0.5 percent to 1.5 percent of cementitious material weight.

Manual mixing requires five minutes slaking time followed by secondary stirring for better dispersion. Mechanical mixing procedure can skip slaking operation.

It maintains good compatibility with all Portland cements and gypsum based products as well as Sidleychem full series admixtures and needs separate feeding.
