SE 801 is propylene epoxide modified starch ether derived from potato starch for gypsum-based dry mix mortar systems.

It delivers powerful thickening effect and smooth construction performance, specially designed for gypsum-based plaster products.

It has high strong thickening efficiency, high strong sag resistance and high strong water demand for machine sprayed plaster and hand plaster formulas.

It is well suited for both machine sprayed plaster and manual hand plaster construction scenarios.

Appearance is fine white powder without surface treatment. Viscosity ranges 2000 to 4000cps tested by Brookfield RVT five percent solution.

Moisture content is controlled no more than 8.0 percent to guarantee stable quality during storage and application.

Recommended dosage is 0.20 percent to 0.40 percent of cementitious material weight. Pre-testing must be completed based on raw materials and construction specifications before formal use.

Thoroughly pre-mix SE 801 with other dry-powder ingredients in production process. Follow specified water dosage for on-site mixing operation.

It is compatible with all Portland cements and gypsum-based products as well as Sidleychem full series admixtures and requires separate addition into mixing system.

It is non-hazardous substance and not classified as dangerous goods for transportation. Full safety operation guidance can be found in corresponding starch ether MSDS document.
