Refractory Seating Well Brick for Ladle Bottom is the core base refractory component of the ladle bottom nozzle system.

Installed at the ladle bottom, it is used to fix, position and protect the upper nozzle or breathable brick, serving as the safety and functional foundation for ladle pouring and refining systems.

Ladle seating bricks provide stable mounting positions for upper nozzles and porous plugs.

They ensure coaxial alignment of nozzles/porous plugs with sliding mechanisms and argon blowing systems to prevent displacement and steel leakage.

Able to withstand static pressure, erosion and thermal shock from molten steel, the bricks protect internal upper nozzles and porous plugs and extend their service life.

Closely bonded with the ladle bottom lining, they block penetration of molten steel and slag through gaps to guarantee operational safety.

During pouring, they support the stopper rod, enabling it to shut off the nozzle accurately and cut off the steel flow.
