Fast Bordeaux Gp Base Azoic Diazo Component 1 Naphthol Dye for Textile

Fast Bordeaux GP Base (C.I. 37135 / ADC 1) is the first in the azoic diazo component series. It produces distinctive bordeaux to maroon shades when coupled with various Naphthols. Different ADC numbers produce different shades---for example, ADC 2 (Fast Orange GC Base) produces orange shades, while ADC 5 (Fast Red B Base) produces red shades.

Main applications include cotton fabric dyeing and printing, viscose, silk, nylon, and acetate fibers. It can also be used as an intermediate for organic pigments, dyes, and pharmaceuticals.

When coupled with Naphthol AS, AS-D, or AS-OL, it produces caramel/brownish shades. When coupled with Naphthol AS-BO, it produces deep jujube red to violet-maroon shades. The coupling ability is strong with medium coupling speed.

Azoic dyes with Fast Bases are more economical than reactive dyes for producing deep shades like maroon, blue, and yellow. They offer excellent fastness properties with light fastness Grade 6-7, approaching the performance of vat dyes. They are also widely used for African Print and Wax Print fabrics.

Fast Bordeaux GP Base is soluble in water, ethanol, sulfuric acid, and hydrochloric acid, but difficult to dissolve in benzene. The diazonium salt form (CAS 27165-25-9) is used for coupling reactions. It should be stored in a cool, dry place and handled with appropriate protective equipment due to its chemical nature.
