Fast Scarlet G Base Azoic Diazo Component 12 Naphthol Dye for Textile

When coupled with Naphthol AS or AS-BS, it produces bright and deep scarlet to yellowish-red shades. It has strong coupling ability with medium speed, making it suitable for producing vivid red tones on cotton and cellulosic fibers.

Main applications include cotton dyeing and printing, silk, nylon, and viscose fiber dyeing. It is also used as an intermediate for organic pigments including Pigment Red 22 and other azo dyes.

Fast Scarlet G Base (ADC 12 / CAS 99-55-8) is the free base form (2-methyl-5-nitroaniline) and requires diazotisation before use. Fast Scarlet RC Base (ADC 13 / CAS 27165-17-9) is the stabilised diazonium salt form, ready for direct use. G Base offers greater formulation flexibility, while RC Base eliminates an additional processing step.

Azoic dyeing with Fast Scarlet G Base is more economical than reactive dyes for producing deep scarlet shades. It offers excellent light fastness (Grade 6-7), surpassing typical reactive dyes, and provides bright, vivid red tones on cellulosic fibers.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep containers tightly sealed when not in use. Use appropriate protective equipment during handling. The product is sensitive to light and moisture.
