Fast Yellow 4G Pigment Yellow 150 for Ink Coating Plastic

Pigment Yellow 150 is a monoazo metal complex pigment, specifically a heterocyclic azo nickel complex containing a pyrimidine ring. Its chemical name is 5,5'-azobis-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-pyrimidinetrione nickel complexes. The nickel complex structure gives it excellent heat and light stability.

Pigment Yellow 150 offers excellent heat stability up to 300 degrees. This makes it suitable for high-temperature plastic processing including injection molding, extrusion, and spin dyeing of engineering plastics such as PA, PC, and ABS. It can withstand 150 degrees water boiling in nylon products for 15 minutes without migration or color change.

Pigment Yellow 150 is widely recognized as the established standard Color Index for green-shade yellow in water-based decorative gravure printing inks. Its combination of excellent light fastness, high heat resistance (300 degrees), and strong color strength makes it a reliable choice for applications requiring consistent, durable yellow tones. It is also a transparent pigment with high clarity, making it ideal for metallic paints, aluminum foil decoration, and overprinting.

Pigment Yellow 150 complies with HG/T 6087-2022 standard for C.I. Pigment Yellow 150. It is a nickel-based metal complex pigment and is considered an environmentally friendly pigment as it does not contain heavy metals such as lead or cadmium.
