Coal-fired steam boilers use coal as fuel to heat water through high-temperature flue gas generated by combustion, so that water is heated and evaporated in a closed boiler and converted into steam. This process includes the combustion of coal, the transfer of heat, the vaporization of water and the collection of steam, which is the process of converting heat energy into steam energy.

Daily maintenance includes regular inspection of key components like the combustion system, water level control, safety valve, and pressure gauge; cleaning ash inside and outside the boiler to keep heating surfaces clean; regular blowdown to prevent water quality deterioration; and necessary overhaul and replacement of worn parts based on operation time.
