Our air-release adhesive makes this much easier than standard vinyl. Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol, let it dry, then lay the vinyl flat and use a squeegee (or a credit card) to smooth from the center outward. For curved surfaces like tumblers, use a heat gun on low to help the vinyl conform. We include a step-by-step guide in the package.

Yes - our cutting vinyl adheres well to most powder-coated, painted, and stainless steel tumblers and mugs. For heavily curved surfaces (like a full wrap on a Stanley cup), warm the vinyl slightly with a heat gun before pressing to improve conformability. Note: not recommended for dishwasher-submerged items; hand wash only to extend life.

In normal outdoor conditions with sun and rain exposure, designs hold up for 5-7 years without fading or peeling. For designs on vehicles, always ensure the paint surface is clean and cured before application. Avoid applying over rust, primer, or peeling paint.
