Q:What is the difference between a 3-layer and a 5-layer stretch film machine?

The 5-layer line (like our PB-L model) adds a specific core layer (usually Metallocene PE) sandwiched between top and bottom layers. This results in significantly higher puncture resistance, better elongation (up to 300%+), stronger cling properties, and lower material costs compared to standard 3-layer films, making it ideal for heavy-duty packaging.
Q:What raw materials does this machine use?
A:
It mainly processes LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene), LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene), and mLLDPE (Metallocene). We can provide a detailed list of material formulas and ratios based on the film performance you require.
Q:How do you ensure the film thickness is uniform?
A:
We use a high-precision T-die with an automatic thickness gauge (optional). The system monitors the film in real-time and automatically adjusts the die lip bolts (via thermal expansion) to maintain uniform thickness, preventing "cloudy" or uneven spots.
