Q:Does the color fade?

The color of the Sangobuild asphalt shingle will not fade. We use CARLA(CL) natural stone chips which are from French and it also supply the stone chips to the factory for asphalt shingle in South Korea and USA. The granular has excellent performance for weather resistance and against extreme UV.

Q:The asphalt shingle is self-adhesive, why does it still need the nail to fix it?

Because the viscosity of adhesive tape just increases when it reaches suitable temperature, so it needs to use the nail to fix it on the roof first after it is exposed on the sunshine and the temperature increase, the asphalt shingle could stick with roof very well.

Q:Is necessary to install a waterproof membrane before installing the shingle?

Yes, we must install a waterproof membrane before installing asphalt shingle, we have a self-adhesive waterproof membrane and polymer PP/PE waterproof the membrane could be chosen.
