Q:What material is your M6-1.0 high strength thread rolling die made of?
A:
Our standard M6 Pitch 1.0 thread rolling plate adopts DC53 alloy steel, Cr12MoV and high speed steel HSS are optional. For heavy-load continuous production, we provide carbide thread rolling die with ultra-long service life. All materials feature high strength, good toughness and crack resistance during high-speed rolling.
Q:What hardness can this M6-1.0 flat thread rolling die reach?
A:
After complete vacuum heat treatment and nitriding surface treatment, the hardness of our high strength thread rolling die reaches HRC 60-64. It can bear heavy pressure without deformation, perfectly suitable for mass production of M6 machine screws.
Q:Is this M6*1.0 rolling die only for machine screws?
A:
Mainly designed for metric M6-1.0 machine screw forming. It also works for carbon steel, stainless steel small bolts and standard thread fasteners. If you produce tapping screws or special studs, we can customize matching thread rolling molds for you.
