Q:What is the working principle of the filter press?
A:
Sludge flows into the filter cylinder and moves forward under thrust from screwshaft. The space between screw blades gets narrower, increasing inner pressure to squeeze liquid out from gaps between rings, leaving dry solid at the outlet.
