Artificial teeth manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize multi-layer PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate) or Composite Resin for acrylic teeth to ensure natural aesthetics and wear resistance. For high-end prosthetics, Zirconia or Lithium Disilicate are preferred for their superior strength and biocompatibility. Ensure the material has a Vickers hardness rating suitable for long-term occlusal loading and that the fluorescence and opalescence match natural dentition.

As medical devices, artificial teeth must adhere to strict regulatory frameworks. Ensure suppliers hold ISO 13485 (Medical Devices Quality Management System) and ISO 22112 (Artificial Teeth for Dental Prostheses). For market access, products must have CE Marking (MDR 2017/745) for Europe or FDA 510(k) clearance for the United States. Always request a Declaration of Conformity and valid test reports for biocompatibility (ISO 10993).

Request samples to verify the shade consistency against the VITA Classical A1-D4 shade guide. Check for anatomical accuracy in the occlusal surfaces to minimize chair-side adjustment time. High-quality teeth should feature cross-linked structures to prevent crazing and ensure a strong chemical bond with the denture base resin.

With the shift toward digital dentistry, prioritize suppliers who provide STL/OBJ digital libraries compatible with major CAD/CAM software like Exocad or 3Shape. This allows for seamless integration into 3D printing or milling workflows. For physical products, ensure the supplier offers a wide range of mould charts to accommodate diverse patient facial structures.

The biggest risk is Customs Seizure due to lack of proper medical registration. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Free Sale (CFS) and that the packaging includes proper labeling in the destination language, including batch numbers and expiry dates. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to mitigate financial risks and ensure the supplier is a Verified Manufacturer.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on annual volume rather than a single order. Negotiate for free replacement of slow-moving shades or moulds to maintain a healthy inventory. Ask for OEM/Private Labeling options if you are a distributor, as this adds brand value. Typical bulk discounts range from 10% to 25% for orders exceeding 5,000 sets.

Artificial teeth are lightweight but fragile. Use Air Freight or Express Couriers (DHL/FedEx) with shock-absorbent packaging to prevent chipping. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum-sealed blister packs to maintain sterility and prevent moisture contamination during transit. For large shipments, temperature-controlled environments are recommended to prevent resin degradation in extreme heat.

Always conduct a Factory Audit or request a video inspection via Made-in-China.com. Check the supplier's Export License specifically for medical devices. Utilize Escrow payment services where funds are only released upon confirmation of the quality inspection report from a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek.
