Rose flower extract manufacturers

When evaluating Rose Flower Extract, the most critical factor is the active ingredient concentration, such as Polyphenols, Flavonoids, or Anthocyanins. You must distinguish between Ratio Extracts (e.g., 10:1) and Standardized Extracts which guarantee a specific percentage of bioactive compounds. Additionally, verify the solubility (water-soluble vs. oil-soluble) to ensure it matches your final product formulation, whether it be for cosmetics, food supplements, or aromatherapy.

For the US market, ensure the supplier is FDA registered and provides a COA (Certificate of Analysis) for every batch. For the EU, compliance with REACH and CosIng (for cosmetics) is essential. If the extract is for consumption, ISO 22000 or HACCP certifications are non-negotiable. Furthermore, Organic certifications (USDA Organic or EU Organic) and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) are vital for customs clearance and safety verification.

Request a Third-Party Lab Test Report (such as SGS or Eurofins) to check for heavy metals (Lead, Arsenic, Mercury), pesticide residues, and microbial limits. High-quality Rose Flower Extract should have a characteristic floral odor and a consistent color. Ask the supplier about the extraction method; Supercritical CO2 Extraction is generally superior to solvent extraction as it leaves zero chemical residues and preserves the delicate aromatic profile.

Rose Flower Extract is widely used in anti-aging skincare due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. In the food industry, it serves as a natural flavoring agent and a source of vitamins. It is also utilized in nutraceuticals for its potential to reduce stress and improve mood. Understanding your specific use case allows you to choose between Rosa Damascena (prized for fragrance) and Rosa Canina (prized for Vitamin C content).

Always use Secure Payment Terms such as Letters of Credit (L/C) or payment services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com, which offer Trade Assurance. Avoid 100% upfront wire transfers to unknown vendors. Conduct a Factory Audit or hire a local inspection agency to verify the supplier's business license and production capacity before placing a bulk order.

Suppliers often offer tiered pricing; for Rose Flower Extract, a 15-25% discount is common for orders exceeding 500kg. If you are a startup, negotiate a lower MOQ for the first trial order by emphasizing your long-term growth potential. Always clarify if the quoted price is FOB (Free On Board) or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) to avoid hidden logistics costs.

Rose Flower Extract is sensitive to light and heat. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum-sealed, light-proof aluminum foil bags for powders or fluorinated bottles for liquids. For cross-border shipping, specify temperature-controlled environments if possible. Ensure the HS Code (typically 130219) is correctly declared to prevent customs delays or incorrect tariff applications.

Establish a Quality Assurance Agreement in the contract that defines the sampling method and acceptable defect rate. If the product fails your local lab test, provide the test report within 7-14 days of receipt. Reliable suppliers on Made-in-China.com usually offer a refund or replacement policy for products that do not meet the agreed-upon specifications.
