Vacuum elevators, also known as Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators (PVE), operate on the principle of air pressure differential. The primary advantage is their pitless and machine-room-less (MRL) design, which eliminates the need for deep excavation or bulky overhead machinery. They feature a 360-degree panoramic view using polycarbonate panels and a high-strength aluminum frame. From a technical standpoint, they are inherently safer during power outages because the cab automatically descends to the lowest floor using gravity as air pressure is equalized.
