Refractory Flow Regulator Material for Tundish is a key precast refractory for flow field control in the impact zone of continuous casting tundishes.

It is mainly made of alumina-magnesia, magnesia-calcium, high-alumina corundum, magnesia-carbon and zirconia-corundum materials.

The tundish flow stabilizer enables incoming molten steel to be buffered, divided and decelerated inside the device.

It greatly reduces turbulence and splashing, prevents slag entrapment and reoxidation, and extends the residence time of molten steel in the impact zone.

This facilitates the floatation and removal of large inclusions, thus improving the cleanliness of molten steel.
