Refractory Resistance Steel Impact Plate for Tundish

Refractory Resistance Impact Plate for Tundish is mainly produced from premium magnesia and causes no contamination to molten steel.

With silica fume used as binder, it maintains sufficient strength against temperature changes at all stages. High-temperature reinforcing agent is added to enhance its hot scour resistance.

Specific water reducing agent is also incorporated to lower water addition and optimize workability of the castable.

The impact plate is applied to the molten steel impact zone of tundishes. It shares the same grade, material composition and physical & chemical indices with the slag dam.

Users may properly match baffle plates, impact plates and nozzle seating bricks according to smelting process conditions and actual service status of the tundish.
