This mechanism is formed by two rectangular frames of black-painted steel tubing that are joined by a multi-jointed folding hinge system.
The main frame carries large flat mounting plates with pre-drilled holes along its sides so the whole unit can be fixed inside a bed or sofa structure.
A thin metal guide rod runs parallel to the outer tube within the frame, helping the extension section travel smoothly as it is pulled out.
Four small white wheels mounted in metal housings sit at the corners and near the hinge area so the two sections can roll open across the floor.
Pairs of small tabs with two holes each rise from the top rails of the frame, giving extra fixing points for a mattress platform or upholstery frame above.
