This mechanism is a black powder coated steel frame built around three pairs of scissor lifting arms.
Each pair of arms connects at its top to a flat plate that is drilled with a row of holes for mounting a surface above.
The bottom frame stands on four plastic feet, and a small caster wheel is fitted at one corner.
Riveted cross joints let the arms fold together so the platform can be raised and lowered smoothly.
Frames of this type support lifting sections in beds, ottomans, and other furniture with a concealed storage space.
