This set includes two heavy steel ratchet hinges built to carry moving furniture sections. Each hinge has a straight mounting bar and a second bar ending in an L bracket.
The central pivot housing contains the locking mechanism that holds the chosen angle. Riveted plates keep the joint strong through many adjustments.
The straight bar carries round holes that are spaced evenly along its length. The L bracket on the other bar is drilled with countersunk holes for flush screws.
The hinge is fitted between the wooden frame of the sofa and the frame of the moving part. Users can then tilt the headrest forward and lock it in steps.
A matte zinc finish covers the steel for corrosion resistance. The complete pair lets left and right sides of the furniture move together.
